A Gathering For Eight- by Evolutions In Design

This past weekend I photographed the Festival of the Arts in Wausau, WI! This year, Third Street in Wausau was packed with tents upon tents of unique fine art, flocks of flamingos decorated the heart of downtown Wausau, and people flooded the streets to share their love of art. On Saturday evening Randy Verhasslet, owner of Evolutions in Design florist + gift shop in the heart of Downtown Wausau, hosted a gathering for 8 at the dining table he had decorated and designed for the festival weekend and to celebrate EID’s 20th birthday! On Friday night as I was helping set up at another venue downtown, I admired Randy’s talent and design skills. As soon as I heard that Randy was hosting a dinner for 8 that night, I knew that I just had to capture this special event!

As soon as the small had on the clock struck half past five in the evening, the seats at the table began to fill as the guests filed in This, my friends, was certainly an event to remember. With a table decorated with gorgeous vintage china from St. Vinnie’s, and in the center, a magnificent flower arrangement running to both ends. Where the proceeds went to a great cause, where eight guests, all whom had different stories to share + tell, gathered and created memories while enjoying fine dishes prepared by Lucci’s Back When Cafe a “Farm to Tale Upscale Dining” cafe, just down the block from where the festivities happened.

By the end of the night, all eight guests had experience a night full of smiles, story sharing, and had created new friendships and had gained an experience they will never forget.
